I wanted to update everyone about the Defibrillators, Bonus Ball and Sale of Books.
Over the last few weeks, the Committee have been discussing the future of the two defibrillators that the Centre rent. Two matters were considered, one was due to the cost and the second, that members have said they were not sure if they would be prepared to use them in an emergency.
However, it was unanimously agreed by the Committee that we do continue to keep both defibrillators available for the Centre rallies to assist in an emergency.
To this end, the Committee has proposed that the monies raised from the Bonus Ball and Sale of Books be ring fenced to help pay towards the defibrillators, thereby giving new purpose to both.
Marshals – please note that as there are now two lines in the Lottery, please use the first line for the Bonus Ball.
