South Essex Centre’s Rallies

RALLY PROGRAMME CO-ORDINATOR’S MESSAGE
I put my hand up for this role to ensure that we can all continue to enjoy our shared love of fun and adventure through rallying by ensuring that we produce and maintain a programme of rallies for the benefit of all Centre and wider CAMC members. If at all possible I would like to provide for a full and varied programme of weekend, long-weekend and even longer holiday rallies throughout the year, with a range of themes. But, more than ever before, your help is vital if I am to succeed and if we are all to benefit.
For the first time in its 62 year history the Centre does not have an elected Rally Secretary and out of respect for those who have performed that role to date I refuse to assume that title. This is the most pivotal role in the Centre and without it we simply could not continue to rally in the way that we currently do. Of course Rally Marshals are also pivotal, because without them there would be no need for a Rally Secretary or a Centre. So can we all please work together, and keep on going, to ensure the Centre remains active in the provision of excellent rallying opportunities for everyone.
I am enormously grateful to those Marshals who have stepped up to run rallies featured in this programme; many more than once, but I need every member to consider whether you could do just a little more to help share the load before it is too late. It is not too much to ask to safeguard your continued enjoyment of rallying. Please talk to me to find out what little you need to do.
