Mills at Millhouse Farm. 13 – 15 May 2022

Due to a death in the Family Millhouse Farm are no longer taking Rallies, as they are turning their site into Seasonal Pitches only.

We are delighted to announce that we have found an alternative venue, and the Rally will now be called Mills on Nine Acres. Nine Acres is a lovely site in Leigh on Sea. We are Planning a Ramble for Saturday, to Potash Nursery, where there is a lovely Tea Room, with outside seating also available.

Site fee will be £10.00 per night, based on 15 or more units. No EHU.

A beautiful Carp Fishing lake is on site, and available to experienced fishermen at an additional cost; £15.00 for the day, two rods allowed. The new Committee of the Mid West Yorkshire Centre have not had time to create a brochure for 2022. 

They have a new web site with all the information on www.midwestyorkshirecentre.co.uk

The March draw of the 100 Club took place at the March Committee Meeting held on Zoom on Wednesday, 23^rd March 2022.

1st number was 61 and the owner will receive a cheque for £15

2nd number was 74 and the owner will receive a cheque for £10

3^rd number was 73 and the owner will receive a cheque for £5

Congratulations to them all.

This was the sixth draw of this years 100 Club. The next draw will take place on the 27 April 2022 at the Committee Meeting taking place on Zoom.  This will be the seventh draw of the 2021/22 100 Club.

Please be advised that we have no more spaces for the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance visit but will gladly accept more bookings for the Rally. There will be a St Georges Day themed social on the Saturday evening, and guests are invited to bring bunting and other decorations to dress your own tables.

Steve’s funeral will be held at 10.40am on Monday 21st March at the South Essex Crematorium, Ockendon Road, Upminster, Essex RM14 2UY. Information on donations to follow. 

Everyone is welcome afterwards at the Girl Guiding Site, Chigwell Row Campsite, 141 Lambourne Road, Chigwell, Essex IG7 6EN.   

Would anyone wishing to go on the Indian Meal on 30th March at the Tandoori Parlour, Thundersley, please let Will Thursby know as soon as possible as he needs numbers. Thank you, your support is much appreciated and you will have a brilliant evening for £15.00 a head (Pay on the night). Everyone welcome.

As the summer months are approaching there could be barbecues and heaters in awnings creating a potential fire risk. Bearing this in mind it would be sensible for all members to carry a fire bucket.

It has been brought to our attention that the date on the Nominations Forms in the Rally Book is incorrect. New amended forms will be put on the web in due course.
