Just a heads up. On the morning of the 1st February 2025, I will be changing the password for the members area of the website. To get the new password, you need to be a current member and contact a member of the committee for the new password.

BIRTHDAY PLAQUES

We are running short of Birthday Plaques.

If you have a pile of Birthday plaques just sitting around and would like to donate them back to the centre to be reused, please can you bring them to your next rally and pass them on to a committee member. Thank you.

Steve Thomas

Steve Thomas suffered an episode at his gym last Tuesday, requiring CPR. Steve is currently in hospital, awaiting an MRI on his heart, to determine the course of action. I have had a call from Steve, whilst he does seem to be in good spirits, he said that it was the quick thinking of the gym owners that bought him back using the defibrillator he contributed to five years ago. We wish Steve a full recovery, and our thoughts are also with Angie.

Ray Adams.

Ray has recently had a short stay in Hospital, but I am pleased to advise that he is now home and felling better. A member organised a get well card, which was signed by all at the Christmas Party Rally, and delivered it. Ray said “the card was unexpected but much appreciated. He is feeling a lot better than he was and is continuing to improve slowly”. We wish Ray a full recovery, and hope to see him and Betty soon
