Chinese Meal

After the success of our Indian meals, why not try a Chinese meal on Tuesday 21st November from 7.30 - 8pm at Zen City, Hamlet Court Road, Westcliff on Sea.

All members, friends and family are welcome. 

The cost of your 3 course meal is £16 per person (you will need to pay for your drinks)

A raffle will be drawn during the evening and all proceeds will go to charity. All proceeds from the Charity Chinese Meal will go to the Guide Dogs for the Blind

I would like to thank everyone for the flowers, telephone calls, messages and texts following my recent knee op.

I am recovering, however I have a touch of sciatica at the moment which is painful, but I hope to be on the mend and see you all soon.

November Draw of the 100 Club

The November draw of the 100 Club took place at the Fireworks from Mayflower rally last weekend.

Number 5 was chosen and a cheque for £20 will be sent to the lucky winner shortly.

Number 56 was picked and a cheque for £10 will be sent to the runner up too.

Congratulations to them both and the December draw will take place  on the Children's Christmas Party rally.

We still have 11 100 Club tickets left to sell, so to be in with a chance to be a winner, please call or see Sue Maran for your lucky number.

Caravan & Motorhome Club BBQ Chef of the Year

Caravan & Motorhome Club BBQ Chef of the Year.

The 2018 National will see the launch of a new competition named "BBQ Chef of the Year"

The aim is to find the best themed BBQ menu (2 courses either starter/main or main/desert)

What is needed now?

You need to design a menu on A4 paper to show off what you will be cooking ie with pictures etc

This needs to be with Sue Maran no later than Monday 4th December 2017, so that they can go through to the next round for the winners to be chosen between the Anglia Region.

The 2 best menus will be chosen and the winners will then have the chance to prepare, cook and present their 2 courses at the 2018 National which is to be held at Sledmere House, Yorkshire from 25th - 30th May.

100 Club

The lucky winners of the August draw at the Hunstanton rally were:

No 24 first prize of £20 and
No 28 runner up prize of £10

The numbers chosen for the September draw at the Programme Presentation rally were:

No 71 first prize of £20 and 
No 87 runner up prize of £10.

Congratulations to them all and they will receive their winnings shortly.

Please note that we are now relaunching the new 100 Club so to be in for a chance of winning 12 monthly prizes of £20 or £10 for a one off payment of £5, please get your tickets from Sue Maran.

Additional New Year Rally

Further to the recent news item, we are pleased to be able to announce that, as the New Year Rally at Bassingborne is now full, Trevor & Carol Doore have agreed to run an additional New Year rally for 2017/18, 'New Year Fun at the Rodings', a family style new year, where all ralliers can join together and have some fun. Approx Cost £130.00. Please send £50 non refundable deposit to Carol & Trevor with a booking slip. If you do not have contact details for the marshals, please contact Carol or Trevor on 01702 292087. Join Anglian Region for a fantastic evening travelling on a delightful steam train on the North Norfolk Railway.

Enjoy the beautiful scenery as we travel from Holt to Sheringham and back, whilst partaking in a 3 course meal along the way.

Please be reminded that Bonus Balls are on sale at most rallies and are priced at just two for £1.

Please also be reminded that if the winning number has not been sold then the next taken number up will be deemed as the winner (the next number up from 59 being number 1), thus ensuring a winner every time.

Rally Marshals Paperwork

It may appear that the Rally Marshals Paperwork in Excel Format is no longer available to download from the Website, however they can be accessed via a zip file, the first option on the Rally Marshal Page. This is because of Microsoft Changes, in that you can no longer run an excel programe straight from a Website (unless the Website has been approved by Microsoft). I hope this is helpful.
