South Essex Centre's 2012 Rallies
(including next year's rallies that are booking this year)
The task of the Rally Secretary is to produce a programme of events for the following year that will appeal to all Centre members in some way. Hopefully, in my first year, you will find something that appeals to your individual tastes.
We have included a mix of new venues, resurrected old venues and repeats of the traditional regular venues. Also, being very conscious of ever increasing fuel costs, for those that can, we have tried grouping some rallies together to ease this cost burden. Additional rallies, to previous years, have also been included but this becomes a difficult balance between giving members a wider choice and then encouraging enough Marshals to volunteer their time to run these events. I would like to thank all those dedicated members that have volunteered to fill the gaps in our programme.We are also very dependent on not only the efforts of our regular Marshals, but the landowners and schools that allow us to use their facilities. We would like to express our thanks for their continued support.
Finally, we look forward to the 2012 year and again, meeting old and new friends. The task now begins to produce the 2013 programme and we are always open to new ideas and venues. We need your support to provide the best possible programme to our members.
