The South Essex Caravan Centre Sports Committee are Sponsored by Cranham Caravans
A new year of rallying is about to begin.
We have 3 new Sports Committee members this year, Kevin Higgins, Kev Collins and Mark Carson, we hope they will enjoy it as much as we do.
We will have fun and games for all ages and hope you will join us on the rally field.
This year we will be running two qualifying rounds for La Boule and Lawn darts.
First will be held at Easter Seven Oaks in Kent, second and finals will be held on The Sports & Social at Bartletts Farm, a chance to warm up for The National this year to be held at Holkem Hall, Norfolk, not too far from home so hope to see lots of you there.
We have changed the way in which the preliminary rounds were done last year, as we realise not everyone who wished to participate could join us on the Sports & Social.
The first in the qualifying rounds to represent us for The National 2009 will be held this year at the 4000th Rally August Bank Holiday Bartletts Farm, and the second qualifying rounds at Easter 2009, then the finals at the Sports & Social 2009, this way we hope it will give everybody a chance to participate.
Sporting events for the forthcoming year:
21st - 24th March-Easter at Seven Oaks Kent (Hi Di Hi)
We are guests on this rally and will be holding
the first qualifying rounds for La Boule & Lawn Darts, if you win this round you could be representing our centre at The National.
25th - 27th April -Sports & Social
Warm up time for The National plus the second and final qualifying rounds for La Boule & Lawn Darts. Board darts competition will also be held to find out who will be representing us at this years National.
Not all serious stuff FUN too.
This year to be held at Holkem Hall Norfolk
Not too far from home so hopefully you will give us your support, if not to play but to cheer us on.
4th - 6th July-Five Centre’s Rally
Lost the Bell Trophy last year, but let’s have a good go at bringing it back home.
18th - 20th July-Family Fun at Bulphan
Lots of fun & games for all ages. Silly games for all to join in with or simply cheer on.
22nd - 25th August-4000th Rally
Here we will be holding the first preliminary rounds for La Boule & Lawns darts to represent us at The National 2009. We will also be holding more fun sporting activities, plus its trophy time.
Any of us on this years Sports Committee will be delighted to meet and talk to you on the rally field about our rallies and if you have any suggestions or comments please do not hesitate in contacting us. We’ll offer you a warm welcome, whether you are a player/competitor or a spectator.
