The Centre 2000-2009
2000 Just for one years, fellowship was reduced to 8 rallies because of restrictions due to foot and mouth.
· Won the Anglia Region Challenge Trophy.

2001 The Centre organised the Anglia Five Centres rally at Ipswich Showground
· Won the Anglia Region Challenge Trophy.
· Motions put before the AGM were:- (1) to reduce Vice Chairmen from two to one, this was carried. Part two of the Motion to make the Rally Secretaries position elected, this was defeated.. (2) to replace the existing long service plaques with something more meaningful, this was defeated.
2002 The Centre celebrated its 40th Birthday
· Robert Nobbs was winner and Richard Walker runner-up in the Junior Cycling Championships and the Centre were runners-up in the children’s sports at the National.
· Sue Dunn was Sport Personality
2003 The Juniors raised funds to buy special Benny teddy bears for hospitals in our area. The hospitals that benefited were Newham General, Whipps Cross, King Georges, Oldchurch, Harold Wood, Basildon, Southend General and Princess Alexandra.
2004 The National Rally, Georgia Roberts in her Pinocchio outfit was overall winner of the Children’s’ Fancy Dress Competition.
· At The AGM it was agreed that we should revert back to having two Vice Chairmen
· The Unsung Hero trophy (newly presented to The Centre by Ian & Lynda Carter) was awarded to Stan & Shirley Bunce
2005 Admin increased to £1.50
· The Unsung Hero trophy was awarded to Cath & Colin Batten
2006 The Unsung Hero trophy was awarded to Mick & Marjorie Judge
· Second place was achieved in The Club’s Rally Book Front Cover Competition
2007 The Unsung Hero trophy was awarded to Phil & Sandy Hegarty
